Mad Men 4x01: Insta-reaction

joyoMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD MEN SEASON 4 IS HEEEEERE
I have just seen this episode, and have collected my not-carefully-considered reactions below this handy cut:
Character break-down:
1. Pete, shut-up.
2. Peggy, your hair is fantastic and you are becoming fantastic and god bless your fabulous Hamsense. P.S. Do not let Don's old-fashioned ways get you down.
3. Sally: Please do not get crazy and die. I love you, Sally. You have hard times, your mother is not a very good mother. That is not your fault. Instead of shivelling up and dying, have you considered militant lesbianism? We just want what's best for you. <3
4. Betty: :-/ You are making me sympathetic towards Don, and that feels wrong. How did you do that?
5. Don: Eeeeaararaomfg I was not prepared for how satisfying the "OH NOES I'M ENIGMATIC, BITCHES" press beat-down was. It surprised me. I am looking forward to the challenges you are facing, Don. ::face-slap::
6. Roger: WHY ARE YOU SMILING SO MUCH YOU'RE GONNA DIE FROM LUNG-LIVING-HEART 'SPLOSION ANY DAY NOW.
General:
OMG NEW OFFICE
I am v excited to see how this "Don has to build and maintain an image" and the general adjustment to having to be a businessman instead of just a creative talent. Really really love the direction Peggy is going, but hope she maintains enough balance not to just become BITTER LADY-DON. Pete should shut-up and then generally continue to not talk. I should make that vid I started. The one that makes clear my feelings about Pete. There was much clapping of hands and "OMFG" over the *face slapping* scene.
But now, I must go because it's time for a HAM-FIGHT!!!
